What did they need?

Business Navigators has worked with Energy & Utility Skills for many years supporting them in business growth, performance improvement, development of organisational and people capability.

How did we help them and what benefits did it bring?

A sample of the joint working we have undertaken includes the following:

  • Project managing the highly successful ground breaking Ambition Energy programme recruiting 1700 unemployed persons into jobs in the energy sector and meeting skills shortages
  • Project managing the establishment of systems and processes for competency and registration schemes and I.T. systems delivery, which now provide ongoing sustainable income streams for EU Skills
  • Project managing and providing consultancy leading to the successful Sector Skills Agreement (SSA) process identifying and meeting the demand and supply for skills in the UK Energy Sector
  • Successfully project managing and providing consultancy for a total of 2 million in European Social Funded projects bringing significant added value benefits between 80 -100 million to employers in the Energy & Utility Sectors
  • Developing short, medium and longer term research manpower planning models now used extensively by employers in the Energy & Utility Sectors. This modelling has been directly responsible for securing significant funding for skills investment to date.
